Back in 2019, when I found that specific customers whose needs were not fulfilled by conventional hotels and tourists travelling wanted to stay at a destination like Andaman’s for a longer period of time, a few weeks or even months. Given the duration of stay, they are likely to feel cramped. Because of stay-length, dissatisfied with restaurant/hotel food, crave for homely food and primarily the costing count per night amounts to a huge sum. Then, there are families, which find it inconvenient to accommodate children in a hotel-room, who make demands in terms of food and recreation which cannot be met through the format of a conventional hotel. It is in response to needs of long-stay customers, families and such other groups that the concept of providing apartment space, backed by many of the facilities which the hotels provide, was started and named it “REST NEST VACATION HOMES”. The facility is basically called “self-serviced apartment or a Residential Hotel registered and operated under Andaman and Nicobar Bed & Breakfast/Home Stay Establishment Scheme wrt F.No. 14-4/IIB&B/TSM/2009 DT. 22ndFebruary.”
The interiors are made and well designed to give a cozy and warm feel.
Rest Nest Vacation Homes offerings started with a 3BHK and 2BHK apartment initially. Primarily 3BHK (for a group of maximum 9 members) and a 2BHK apartment (for a group of maximum 6 members) with all the modern facilities and very much touch of Modern infrastructure in the vicinity of the city at a very nominal pricing compared to the size of the group who stayed for a longer period or in groups. The concept was really an unforgettable experience for the guest which they could not get even in the most expensive of hotels and resorts. The launch of this venture was mainly aimed to provide “Homely stay arrangements to the tourists and to promote and make aware of the local culture among the tourist” at very economical tariffs. The tourists who all visit Andaman’s generally stay at hotels, guest-houses or traditional home stays depending on needs and budget. However, this concept of an independent apartment of the size of their choice as per the number of people travelling along wish to stay in a homely environment and not spend too much money on accommodation. This idea was a hit over night even though it was classified under home stay but stood apart among the guests whose service expectations were modest and who do not expect room-service or round the clock service.
The basic aim of Rest Nest Vacation Homes is to provide a clean and affordable place for domestic tourists including an opportunity for foreign tourists to book an Independent flat of 3BHK or 2BHK in Andaman’s at the cheapest price for bigger groups or families. So in such circumstances, Rest Nest vacation Homes will be one such Entity which will provide a well furnished Apartment, with 3BHK and 2BHK options with the best amenities, with each bed having attached toilet, and a Kitchen in each of the apartment which will be fully functional with Gas Stove Burners, utensils to Cook, Cutlery to service, Refrigerators to store food, Oven, Bread Toaster for a quick morning toast, and an Additional Electric kettle too. This would enable them to enjoy the self-cooked food and the guest won’t have to worry about the costly food.
Rest Nest Vacation Homes is planning to diversify the opportunity by either acquiring some ready apartments or commissioning construction or unused houses or villas available in Islands owned by Local Land Lords favoring our Business model, and furnishing these and operating a Self-Serviced apartment facility or a Residential Hotel Model Business. Rest Nest Vacation Homes aims to furnish every unit with best Amenities and operate the Apartments under the banner of Rest Nest Vacation Homes brand. We propose every facility or units which will be added in future will be affordable and yet comfortable and luxurious.
